Does Nora have ADA compliant light fixtures?

Yes, our NWLIN, NLUD, and NYUD-3 wall-mounted fixtures are ADA compliant when installed correctly. Many of our pendant-mounted fixtures can also meet ADA requirements if the bottom of the fixture is at least 80 inches above the floor.

ADA Requirements for Light Fixtures: Wall-mounted fixtures must not protrude more than 4 inches into walkways when the leading edge is between 27 and 80 inches above the floor. Ceiling- or pendant-mounted fixtures must provide a minimum of 80 inches of clearance from the floor. Proper lighting levels and glare control should also be considered to ensure safe navigation for all users. Following these guidelines helps maintain compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
